Residential Roofing - Laminate Shingle
Fiberglass laminate shingles are quickly becoming the most popular shingle in the residential and light commercial roofing market today. Their solid construction of non-woven fiberglass reinforcement and asphalt, plus their textured and sometimes shadowed appearance, enhances any home producing a custom built appearance. The protective coating of granules comes in many custom colors meant to imitate the look of classic shake or slate roofing - or to create a new custom look. Pricing of these shingles is only slightly greater than an interlocking shingle; however, laminate shingles must be installed over solid decking - eliminating the possibility of roofing over existing shingle roofs.
